Corporate
governance and risk management
The demanding role of trustees is increasingly focused on
matters such as governance, stewardship, accountability and
transparency. We provide specific training on financial and
non-financial matters, including trustee training, to ensure
trustees clearly understand their role and responsibilities,
as well as best sector practice. In partnership with the Charities
Finance Directors Group, we undertake a comprehensive, annual
survey of risk management approaches currently used by charities.
This gives us unique knowledge of this area, enabling us to
provide you with the most up-to-date guidance on best practice
for risk management.
We also
provide a well established seminar programme, incorporating
seminars with specialist charity lawyers, speakers from the
Charity Commission, sector umbrella groups and charity representatives.
